Words While We Wait - Day 9

Words While We Wait from Pontypool, Ontario

THE PATH BECAME A ROAD

Poet: Sandy Thomas
Artist: Bill van Koot

I walk a path I have not been
I stay alone while others scorn.
Demands are made; demands are met.
But hopes are high, vaccine is nigh.
We said goodbye. We say goodbye
As some stand firm I see, but yet
Can they not see the souls unborn.
Oh weary road of sights unseen.
