Artist Statement:
"As an artist I have always had a particular love of photography and snapshots of one moment in time. As such I have been drawn towards the realism movement and trying to recreate moments or photographic images in my art. My favourite medium to achieve this used to be oil pastel, but oil pastels never truly ‘dry’ making it impractical for me to use in my dorm room where the safe storage place is very limited.
Being away at school and having new experiences has led me to experiment more with different mediums and themes. As such I have not landed on a singular artistic vision yet but am enjoying the process of exploring and where I am now."
