My painting represents a boat. I used brown and blue paint. I was inspired by pictures of boats. I thought that the picture looked nice. I want to share the nice feeling of driving a boat. I should have drawn a sketch first. I want to draw beautiful.
LANDSCAPE ARTIST: Emily Strange
TITLE: Peaceful waters
SIZE: 16x20 Inches
MEDIUM: Acrylic on canvas board
Artist Statement:
My landscape makes you feel calm. In my landscape there is a big tree in the front with a trail and a pond to the left of it .
My idea is to paint something that is calming so when you look at it you feel good. I want it to look like someplace you would love to get lost in. I am challenging myself by painting trees because I am not very good at it yet.
LANDSKAPSKONSTNÄR: Noor Ferchichi
TITLE: The neverending path
SIZE: 11 x 15.7 in
MEDIUM: Acrylic on canvas
Artist Statement:
I painted a grass field, a dirt path and a cloudy sky. I used a pencil, a paintbrush and acrylic paint. I didn’t really get any inspiration from anything specific,
I just drew what first came to mind. I really love drawing paths though so that was partly my
inspiration for my painting. I actually had painted something completely different before this but I wasn’t proud of how it turned out, so I thought it was a challenge trying to draw something else over my previous painting in time knowing I only had a day left. Fortunately I ended up finishing it and I was so relieved.
I was relatively proud of the finished product but I really wished I painted something else in the background because I think it looks a little empty. I was originally going to paint a windmill on one of the hills but I didn’t have time left to do so. Apart from that I think it looks pretty decent and I’m very proud.
