I felt that the joy we all feel at the coming of Spring is represented by the rushing water of the Miskwaa Ziibi as it washes away Winter.
The trees seem like an audience to the action of the water as it crashes over the rocks.
About The Artist - Lorraine Wagner
As a person who loves the outdoors, living in Ontario is ideal for any landscape artist. I particularly enjoy trying to capture the movement and light reflections on water and details and colours that are found in landscapes. Since I have started painting, it has changed the way I look at my surroundings. Clouds, water, trees are full of detail that I try to capture with my paintings. My medium of choice is acrylics, but I like to challenge myself with watercolours.
