Working with wool and other natural fibers, Kathy Andrews creates two and three dimensional pieces of art by wet felting and needle felting. A college graduate and former culinary artist, Kathy now spends much of her time in her studio manipulating wool into paintings, animals and vessels. The inspiration for all of her art comes from the woodlands and fields near her home in the Kawartha Lakes. Conservation and preservation are a very important part of her art. As an evolving artist, Kathy has become a member of ECOAA, has been published in related fiber magazines, and has been enjoying working with local galleries. Kathy's art can be found on her Facebook page Kathy Andrews fiber artist, and on Instagram kathyandrewsfiberartist.
