Artist Statement:
Lauren Radigan is currently studying online at Mohawk College for a career in the library/information sector. She intends to continue her art on the side, which includes painting or drawing for pleasure as well as the sale of prints and commissioned portraits.

This painting was inspired by my wonderful husband who, much like a wolf, is extremely intelligent and would die for his loved ones. The title is in reference to his name (Lucas) which means light-giving or illumination. As cheesy as it sounds, that is the role he plays in my life.
