Ross Robertshaw

Ross Robertshaw was born in Toronto in 1919. He worked there for 19 years painting city scenes and portraits of old homes. When he retired, he moved to just North of Peterborough into a 135 year old cabin with his wife, and continued painting. He adored painting landscapes, and often travelled to places such as Algonquin or Haliburton in search of scenes to paint. Most of his paintings were done in plein air. Robertshaw passed away in 1986.
