My art piece was inspired by the fact that a lot of youth today feel overshadowed by adults trying to tell them what to do or how they should feel. This piece is a chameleon trying to call for attention to the other lizard across the road but they can’t see anyone as the chameleon is blending in with the background. This is often the case for kids and teenagers who keep asking adults for help, but the adults may not know what signs to look for. The best way to help the youth is to have easy open access to resources both the the youth but also for their parents and guardian figures.
