Our New Space Update - The Beginning

As you no doubt have heard, Kawartha Art Gallery is moving! This series of blog posts is meant to give a behind-the-scenes look at construction updates, and what to expect in the new space.

Although construction is well underway, earlier in the summer we were able to visit the new space in its pre-renovation form.

Envisioning what the space can be for KAG is no easy task in early stages, but luckily we had the expertise of property owner Wesley Found and architect Bernard Finney to help guide us.

What blows us away, in terms of future possibilities, is the amount of space we have to work with. Whereas our current home has certain limitations, we will now be able to have multiple exhibits on at once, something we’re looking forward to sharing.
