I chose to add a lot of relatively bright colours to this painting because I wanted it to deceitfully symbolise comfort and warmth. I chose to add bubbles and green clouds to make the painting seem playful.
This painting is from the point of view of the woman standing in the middle, hence the apple core as a sun. Her head is an eye because this is how she sees the world. Although, the eye is strained because of the cheetah that represents people who try to manipulate her view on the world. The face behind the woman is hers, it's bloody with zip ties on her forehead, trying to destroy her mind and thoughts. The shadow behind her face is what she is beginning to see the world as.
This painting symbolises the negative influence others have on each other and how it can begin to distort the mind as much as its perspective.
