Sean Winter grew up in Lindsay and attended I E Weldon SS, where with the prompting of his art teachers he began to explore his art. After graduating in 2012, Sean attended Nipissing University studying Phys. Ed and Visual Arts, followed by a Bachelor of Education to teach both at the Intermediate and Senior levels.
Sean enjoys teaching art as much as creating it, having taught art courses at LCVI, Fenelon Falls SS, and the Kawartha Gallery as a student teacher, at Trillium Lakelands Arts Camp, and most recently for a semester at Campbellford District High School, as well as leading paint nights for kids’ parties.
When creating his own art, Sean’s mediums of choice are ink, acrylic paint, and charcoal, and he especially enjoys creating personalized cards for special occasions.
Prints of cards with custom text can be purchased from Sean for $8.00 each or fully customized cards can be requested and purchased for a price based on size and complexity.
After having been awhile from Lindsay for awhile, Sean is now living back in Lindsay and is pleased to be part of the Canada Day – The 2020 Way celebration here in the Kawartha Lakes.
