ANDERS WIDJEDAL - The Juror
Anders Widjedal has been active in the arts community for over 30 years both as an educator and an artist.
One of the founding members of the Kawartha Arts Network, Anders also taught art, photography, and media at area high schools LCVI and I.E. Weldon.
During his 30-year teaching career, Anders juried and hung the annual TLDSB art show, was involved in the early years of TLAC, and worked to actively promote the arts within the school board through exhibits both locally and internationally.
Anders thoroughly enjoyed his career teaching the next generation of creatives and the challenges with new mediums and is looking forward to seeing the 2024 submissions for Kawartha Art Gallery’s Annual High School Juried Exhibit.
