Generations have admired and been inspired by the Group of Seven’s unique depictions of landscapes which have captured and shaped the Canadian spirit. They were known to have referred to themselves as Adventurers in Paint.
It is our hope that these paintings will inspire us to ponder the many adventures of all artists who have ventured into the vast Canadian wilderness and have brought back with them the wild beauty and wonder expressed in these paintings.
